Cowley Manor Wedding

At this point, Cowley Manor is basically my ‘wedding’ second home! I am blessed to be one of the venue’s recommended suppliers. That’s how Hayley and Myles found me for their wedding! And what an incredible day it was. Cowley Manor re-opened this summer after a stunning redesign. The new owners took inspiration from the buildings history. The grounds of Cowley Manor are what inspired Alice in Wonderland. So there are a lot of references throughout the hotel. I was delighted to see the huge bathtub was still a feature in the bridal suite. So I am still able to capture that classic bridal party shot in the morning!

Hayley and Myles chose the intimate onsite chapel for their ceremony, and hosted the reception in the hotel. What I love most about Cowley Manor as a wedding venue is the range of photo opportunities. There is a grand staircase outside which is perfect for large group photos. The grounds are also the ideal backdrop for couple photos. And the spa is a cool alternative couple shot when the weather is wet!

The couple met over a decade ago when they were 18! And then ended up at the same university and started dating after a life changing New Year’s Eve party. They also had their two dogs, Otto and Truffle, show up after the ceremony for a few ‘family’ photos.

The florals were autumnal, and the statement flowers on the fireplace took my breath away. Hayley wore a sequinned dress with a removable skirt, which switched up her look for the evening! The night ended with a lively dance floor.
