Spoiler alert… This wedding is spectacular! Rowena & Matthew came all the way from New Zealand to exchange vows at this truly unique venue in Devon. Anran has also been on my bucket list as a wedding photographer for a few years now. And it did not disappoint. The glasshouse where they held the reception adorned with drapes and stunning florals. The tropical plants in both the ceremony and reception space creates a very vibrant and green backdrop to start with. My favourite colour to edit! What I love about this as a UK wedding venue, is you still get the feeling of being outdoors, surrounded by nature, when the weather is less favourable.
The ceremony was humorously led by celebrant Olivia Coleman, in a greenhouse filled with ponds, plants and lovely guests cheering on the happy couple.
The couple’s attention to detail was incredible. They used illustrations of the venue on everything from their morning pyjamas to the bride’s phone case, to the bottles at the wedding breakfast. And finally, glow stick sunglasses and flashing ‘rings’ to light up the dancefloor. The team on the day was fantastic, with Georgina Rose Events as the wedding planner, Etiquette Events on the styling, and MB Weddings & Events on Content Creation.
No matter where in the UK you are, Anran is worth the travel if you’re looking for a special wedding venue to share your vows and celebrate your love.
