Isabelle & Harvey opted for a traditional church wedding ceremony followed by a reception at the stunning stately home Hamswell House. A beautiful venue, with the house and grounds as a lovely backdrop. The house itself is not the venue. The reception is hosted in a marquee, and the wedding party get access to the gardens for canapes, photos and general milling around!
Isabelle and Harvey were beaming the whole day! Despite the groom wearing a boot and crutches. In a strike of bad luck, he had a rugby injury just a few weeks before! That didn’t stop him having a great time. Even on the dancefloor!
Although it was a September wedding, it was also the hottest wedding of the year! Since Hamswell House is basically a marquee wedding, keeping the guests cool was a priority. The couple provided fans as favours. And I love how they became props on the dancefloor later!
