Can I just take a moment for an unforgettable year! 40 weddings across the length and breadth of the UK. From a garden ceremony in Guernsey to a tippee wedding in Cumbria. And beyond! Last year travel was back with vengeance (*said gleefully). I hit that airport runway for five destination weddings all over Europe! And what varied venues I discovered. A lakeside Swiss farm, a breathtaking Sorrento villa, a modern Portuguese venue and even a snowy mountain elopement in the Alps! Travelling all over Europe as a Wedding Photographer was also my top goal for the year.
It’s pretty mind blowing to think how far I’ve come in just 4 years, and everything I have experienced in that time as a business owner! I am a recommended supplier at venues I dreamed of shooting, like Cowley Manor and Sudeley Castle! I have witnessed different traditions from a range of cultures. 2022 was a year of many firsts for me, and many milestones. I shot my first jewish wedding on a cliff overlooking the sea. I captured my first LGBT wedding, then took couple portraits with fireworks for the first time and learnt about a portuguese wedding custom involving ribbons! Over the summer I shot my 100th wedding. And I also ran my first ever portfolio building workshop at the Matara Centre.
I’m not finished growing. In many ways I still feel like a rookie. Every wedding is a lesson! So if I can sign off with a huge thank you. Thank you to my incredible clients who invited me into their love story.
