Charlie & Hannah’s black tie wedding at Elmore Court was stunning. White balloons and a magnificent statement floral display. A change in outfit. No, not the bride this time! Charlie made his vows as black tuxedo, looking every inch a red carpet James Dean. But turned into James Bond in a white dinner jacket come evening! I love how something as simple as changing a jacket transformed him! Hannah was a vision in an asymmetrical sequin white gown.
Hannah and Charlie are also childhood sweethearts, and many of their school friends joined the celebration, alongside their beautiful baby girl.
This wedding was a second shooting job for Wild Fern Photography, so I had the pleasure of capturing groom prep. A few shenanigans involving champagne and an aesthetic bathtub. And then outside for a killer groomsmen shot! A short and sweet ceremony followed by entertaining speeches and finally a mega party! A DJ and accompanying saxophone, and masks (not the covid kind!) for a masquerade reception!
As an autumn/winter wedding, the windy weather kept most guests inside. But thankfully Elmore Court has spacious and varied rooms to stay cosy in! The ceremony room with its high ceiling and huge windows is a photographer’s dream. And then the quirky gillyflower for the reception. What I love about this venue is it’s clearly been designed for weddings. No wonder they’re in such high demand!
