Adam and Alexa had already legally tied the knot in America. But since this was with covid restrictions, it was now time for their grand affair! A fairytale ending at Berkeley Castle, with all their nearest and dearest present. I love my job. As a wedding photographer, I am blessed with the honour (and pressure) of capturing the most important day of your life!
In fact, I felt even more pressure than usual shooting this wedding! They already had gorgeous wedding photos from their intimate New York wedding. And the possible comparison put an added expectation on me! Not only that, but since I booked Adam & Alexa, they started couple modelling. So they worked alongside dozens of other photographers! In the end though, with care and determination I created a beautiful gallery.
Berkeley Castle has its own chapel, for those clients who desire a more religious ceremony. Adam & Alexa opted for a traditional church wedding to bless their marriage. The vows and addresses were thoughtfully adapted for this second wedding. Then the terrace by the pond made a magical backdrop for their welcome drinks. What’s amazing about the venue is its variety. From the traditional medieval dining hall, to the cave like cellar, to the impeccable grounds. The couple and their guests enjoy so many options!
I loved the black satin bridesmaid dresses. Each girl chose their own dress. But as they followed the same colour scheme and similar materials, it flowed! The bridal party looked super glam in this less conventional styling choice. It also contrasts against the bride in her traditional white gown!
Thank you Adam & Alexa. Thank you for choosing me to capture your special day.
