As a second shooting job for another wedding photographer, Doville Gail, I’ve had to hold back posting for a few months. Finally I’m delighted to show it off! I covered groom prep with the dashing musician Tom, donning a pale grey three piece suit and floral tie (love it!). We then moved on for the ceremony and reception at the breathtaking Shustoke Barn. What I love about this venue is the combination of rustic barn features and grand church-like details. Moreover its proximity! As a Cheltenham Wedding Photographer I consider this a local venue, as it’s about a 1 hour drive.
Rather than poems or readings during the ceremony, the couple’s talented friends performed, and then live music continued to be a key part of their wedding day throughout the reception. To sum up… An all day party!
The bride and groom both embraced the spotlight too! And so they took the stage to show off their own talents. Emily lead a flash mob, with her girl squad behind her. They danced a choreographed routine to feminist hit ‘Power’ by Little Mix. Only of course they had their own live music. Later on Tom took over the music and performed with a band. Furthermore, if the photos don’t do this justice, check out the wedding film below! Roo Films also does a tremendous job of capturing the fun at this wedding.
Congratulations Emily & Tom! Thanks for having me. It’s always such a pleasure witnessing these pivotal life moments. And capturing those memories for you is even more special!
