The Grace Hotel stands perched on the cliffs overlooking the world renowned Caldera. Its panoramic sea views also make a stunning backdrop for romantic destination weddings and elopements. The venue was ideal for taking photos. Especially with the white buildings providing the perfect natural reflector! And then finally when the sun begins to dip, there’s the ideal vantage point for one of Santorini’s sunsets. The perfect spot for my first shoot as a Grace Hotel Santorini Wedding Photographer!
The Team
Paula & Daniel were an absolute delight to shoot. Their connection was palpable and they brought a sense of fun and adventure to the day. They danced. They also scaled rocky terrain barefoot to get those stand out pictures.
Valentina from The Stars Inside, Rebecca Carpenter and Storme Make Up & Hair are always a dream team. Together they create something magical. It sparks our imagination. And the results! They are simply stunning. As can be seen!
What’s more, the delicate styling is otherwordly. With a nod to Homer’s Odyssey tying the elements together. I love rather how the flowers mimic the sea. The stationery also takes inspiration from the surroundings. Blue watercolour reflects the sea as well, and then the rocky cliffside is alluded to with the rough edges of the paper.

Furthermore as a destination wedding photographer I can arrive ahead of the wedding. I can use this time to explore the island further. Before working as a wedding photographer I worked in the locations department of Film and TV productions!
