I absolutely love autumnal wedding styling. The colours are so rich. And on a sunny day. The lighting is so stunning. And that’s exactly what Scott and Jessica got at their Cripps Barn wedding. A beautiful, late September Sunday.
Shooting a wedding is always a lot of pressure. But it’s even more intimidating when the groom is a DP! This year I made it my mission to get better at flash photography. To be confident in nailing those party shots. The 2020 covid weddings meant I had a lot less practice on the dance floor. But this season I’ve really upped my game! Scroll to the bottom for some of my favourite ever party photos.
Quirky details like kitsch Kushi Car and the donut tower reflected the couples creative and fun nature. Cripps Barn, and in fact all the other Cripps venues I’ve been to, are renowned for their food. Every time I’ve shot at one their venues, I’ve been so impressed. Nothing pretentious, just good food. Which can be so difficult when catering for large numbers.
