The Best Cotswolds Wedding Venues (Luxury, Unique & Iconic Locations)

Posted in: Wedding Tips

The Cotswolds is one of the most sought-after wedding destinations in the UK — known for its honey-stone villages, rolling countryside, and effortlessly elegant venues. As a Cotswolds wedding photographer, I’ve had the opportunity to capture celebrations across some of the region’s most beautiful locations. Each offering something completely unique depending on your vision.

Whether you’re dreaming of a stately home, a countryside estate, or something a little more unconventional, here are some of the best Cotswolds wedding venues to consider.

Euridge Manor — Italian-Inspired Romance in the English Countryside

Arguably one of the most iconic venues in the Cotswolds, Euridge Manor feels like stepping into an Italian villa. With its stone boathouse, winding pathways, and grand archways, it’s designed for visually stunning, editorial-style weddings. It’s particularly suited to couples who want a multi-day celebration with an exclusive, destination feel — without leaving the UK.

Cowley Manor — Modern Luxury Meets Countryside Escape

Cowley Manor blends contemporary design with classic Cotswold surroundings. Known for its bold interiors and luxury spa, it’s ideal for couples wanting a stylish, design-led wedding with a relaxed, house-party atmosphere. Being on their recommended supplier list, I’ve seen how seamlessly weddings flow here. The grounds and the spa also offer unique backdrops for couple portraits.

Kin House — A Playful, Design-Led Private House Wedding

Kin House offers something refreshingly different — colourful, characterful interiors paired with a relaxed, private house feel. It’s perfect for couples who want a less traditional wedding, with spaces that encourage movement, connection, and a really fun guest experience.

Sudeley Castle — Historic Grandeur & Romantic Gardens

Just five minutes from my home, Sudeley Castle is one of the most iconic venues in the Cotswolds. With its historic ruins, award-winning gardens, and sweeping views, it offers a timeless and romantic setting. Outdoor ceremonies here feel particularly special, surrounded by centuries of history. The Orangery has been recently updated, elevating the venue!

Foxhill Manor — Exclusive, Intimate Luxury

Foxhill Manor is all about exclusivity and intimacy. With only a handful of bedrooms, it’s perfect for smaller weddings or multi-day celebrations with your closest people. Think private house weekend energy, incredible food, and a completely personalised experience. Whilst the house is a stunning, refined British Manor, the driveaway is reminiscent of winding roads in Tuscany!

Cornwell Manor — Elegant Countryside Estate

Cornwell Manor offers a classic English countryside setting, complete with lakeside views and beautiful gardens. It’s ideal for marquee weddings, giving couples flexibility to design their day while still having an elegant estate backdrop. If it’s good enough as a location in The Holiday, it’s good enough for me!

Sezincote House — A Unique Architectural Gem

Sezincote is unlike anywhere else in the Cotswolds. With its Indian-inspired architecture and exotic gardens, it creates a truly unique setting. It works beautifully for couples wanting something distinctive, with a slightly more eclectic, destination-inspired feel.

Elmore Court — Sustainable Luxury & Flowing Spaces

Elmore Court is one of the most sought-after venues for a reason. Its purpose-built “Gillyflower” space allows for a seamless flow from ceremony to party, while its sustainability focus adds an extra layer of intention. It’s perfect for couples who want both elegance and energy.

Ivy Lodge — A New & Exclusive Cotswolds Venue with Elevated Style

Ivy Lodge is one of the newest additions to the Cotswolds wedding scene, having only opened recently — which gives it a real sense of exclusivity. It still feels undiscovered, with fewer weddings held there compared to more established venues. The standout feature is the striking front building, which creates a strong first impression and photographs beautifully. Set within view of the polo grounds, there’s also an added sense of refinement and connection to the wider Cotswolds lifestyle. The food is another highlight, with Yard Space behind the catering — known for delivering an elevated, high-quality dining experience that feels far from standard wedding fare.

A Unique Alternative — Lakes by Yoo

For something a little different, Lakes by Yoo offers a modern, design-led lakeside setting. With luxury cabins, lakeside manors and super houses and a focus on lifestyle, it’s perfect for couples wanting a more relaxed, non-traditional wedding — think weekend celebrations, water views, and a completely different take on the Cotswolds.

Planning Your Cotswolds Wedding

Choosing the right venue is one of the biggest decisions you’ll make when planning your day. Each of these Cotswolds wedding venues offers a different atmosphere — from historic castles to modern estates — and the right choice will depend on how you want your wedding to feel.

As a Cotswolds wedding photographer, my approach is always to blend into the day and capture it as it naturally unfolds, while still creating those editorial, timeless images that reflect the setting you’ve chosen.
