If you’re dreaming of an iconic Italian ceremony location, a Cloisters Sorrento wedding at Chiostro di San Francesco is hard to beat. This historic cloister is one of the most popular wedding ceremony spots in Sorrento. Renowned for its beautiful stone arches, trailing greenery, and soft, romantic light. Despite being open to the public, you’d never know it from Lauren and Bodey’s photos. With careful framing and a little help from AI, the ceremony photos seem completely intimate. As though it was theirs alone. Even with curious tourists quietly watching on from beyond the arches.
Lauren and Bodey also chose to add 35mm film coverage to their wedding. I always love offering film for destination weddings like this. Film captures light and colour in such a timeless, nostalgic way, perfectly suited to the textures and tones of Sorrento. So first, I’m sharing their 35mm film highlights. A softer, more emotive perspective of the day that feels like stepping straight into a memory. But scroll down further for the crisp, beautiful digital gallery too!

Travelling from the US, Lauren and Bodey brought their closest friends and family to Sorrento for a full wedding experience, and I had the pleasure of joining them across multiple moments of the trip. From exploring Capri together, where I captured a few relaxed, candid photos, to their pre-wedding shoot through the streets of Sorrento at sunset before the rehearsal dinner, it felt like documenting not just a wedding day, but an entire story. I even joined their guests for dinner, which made the experience feel all the more personal.

The wedding day began at Hotel Mediterraneo Sorrento with relaxed, light-filled prep before heading to the Cloisters Sorrento for the ceremony. Afterwards, celebrations returned to the hotel, where the rooftop Sky Bar hosted a stunning drinks reception and dinner overlooking the Amalfi coastline at sunset. As the sky turned golden, speeches flowed into the evening before the party moved downstairs. Ending the day exactly as it should: full of energy, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
